What we store, why we store it, and how long it stays.

File contents

Folder contents are encrypted on your device before upload. The server holds ciphertext, file sizes, and modification times — the minimum required to reconcile two copies of a folder.

Account data

An account is an email address, a password hash, and the public half of your device keys. We do not ask for a phone number, a real name, or a billing address during the beta.

Logs

Web server logs record request time, response code and byte counts. They are rotated and deleted after 14 days. We do not run third-party analytics and there are no tracking cookies on this site; the only value stored in your browser is the interface language you picked.

Deleting an account

Deletion removes your account record and all stored ciphertext within seven days, including versions.
